Donna Zuniga has worked at Lee College since August, 1987. During her first 10 years, she served as a counselor and then program director for the Huntsville Center site. In the spring of 1997, Donna was selected as Dean of the Huntsville Center.
As dean, Donna provides academic, technical, and fiscal leadership for the center. This includes planning and evaluation, selection and supervision of faculty and staff, and developing and managing the academic and technical programs to meet the strategic vision of the college and center. She has served on numerous campus-wide committees over the years, such as SACSCOC reaffirmation, Institutional Effectiveness, and Curriculum and Planning.
Donna earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Sam Houston State University. She also holds professional certifications in counseling and mid-management. Donna is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. She was selected to participate in the National Institute for Leadership Development’s Leader Program, a national leadership training program for female administrators of community colleges from across the United States and Canada.
