Mary Ann Amelang
Mary Ann Amelang oversees the resource-development and college-relations functions of Lee College.
Her team handles grant development and compliance, the Lee College Foundation, economic development, public information, marketing, advertising, publications, Web services, the print shop, graphic design, social media and recruitment.
Amelang has more than 20 years experience in resource development and college relations, the last 10 of which have been at community colleges.
Before joining Lee College in January 2007, she served as Executive Director of Resource Development at College of the Mainland for more than seven years. She holds a master’s degree in humanities from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Houston.
Over the past several years, she has presented resource development workshops both regionally and nationally.
