Building Description and Use:

Built:  2002

This facility consists of three levels.  No basement.  75,000 square feet.

The structural system consists of reinforced concrete piers, concrete grade beams, and steel frame.

The floor structure is a reinforced concrete floor slab on grade at the first floor and reinforced concrete on metal pans at second and third floors. 

This is an educational facility.  The library spans the entire first floor and provides high speed Internet and Ethernet access though multiple computer stations. The second floor features thirteen (13) computer labs. The third floor contains twenty-three faculty offices, six (6) computer labs, seven (7) classrooms and two (2) distance education classrooms.

Acoustical tile suspended ceilings.

The roof structure is lightweight concrete on top of a metal pan.  Roofing system is built up, coal tar pitch.

Walls are concrete masonry blocks with brick fascia. 

Adequate plumbing. 

Adequate electric.

Condition:  Excellent

Occupancy:  Library and Advanced Technology Center.  Houses the Business Technology and Computer Technology Divisions of Applied Science and Community Education.
