Republic Whiting Building

Building Description and Use:
The Republic Whiting building at Lee College is a single story, 3,800 square foot structure purchased in 1996 and constructed around 1955.  After some renovation the Lee College industrial liaison offices occupy the building along with two general purpose classrooms. 

Structural Characteristics:
This facility consists of one level. No basement.

The structural system consists of wood frame construction. 

The floor structure at ground level is reinforced concrete slab on grade and reinforced concrete.

Partitions are standard for the design and occupancy for which the building was intended. They consist of wooden stud and gypsum board. Wall covering is basically paint and wood paneling. 

The exterior walls consist of brick masonry.

The roof structure is shingle and is in good shape.

Plumbing is in good shape

HVAC consists of stand alone heating and air conditioning units. 

Electrical is adequate for facility.

Condition: Excellent.

Occupancy: Faculty Offices, Classrooms, Meeting Rooms.

Estimated Replacement Cost: $140,000.00
