Facilities Master PlanTexas Avenue ComplexBuilding Description and Use: Structural Characteristics: The structural system consists of reinforced concrete footings and foundation walls supporting a steel frame superstructure. The floor structure at ground level is reinforced concrete slab on grade and reinforced concrete. Upper level floors consist of reinforced concrete floor. Floor covering consists of carpet, vinyl composition tile, and brick. Partitions are standard for the design and occupancy for which the building was intended. They consist of metal stud and gypsum board. Wall covering is basically paint with select areas of wood paneling. The exterior walls consist of brick, glass curtain wall, and cast coping. The roof structure is poured concrete. Roof cover is three ply, modified bitumen built-up system. Roof is insulated below roofing plies to an R-9 rating. This roof is satisfactory. Plumbing is in good shape, but the restrooms are not handicapped accessible. Restroom fixtures are in need of replacement. HVAC consists of multiple direct expansion units. Electrical is adequate for facility. Condition: Satisfactory. Occupancy: Administrative Offices. Estimated Replacement Cost: $3,300,000 |
