Facilities Master PlanTechnical Vocational 2Building Description and Use: Building and Energy Use Characteristic: Steam, generated with natural gas at the College’s South Central Plant, is used for heating and domestic water heating. The building uses chilled water generated from electric power at the College’s South Central Plant for cooling. Building Energy Use Indices are as Follows:
Structural Characteristics: The structural system consists of reinforced concrete footings and foundation walls supporting the structure. The floor structure is reinforced concrete slab on grade. Floor covering consists of V.A. tile, carpet, and exposed structure. Partitions are standard for the design and occupancy for which the building was intended. They consist of clay tile and glazed tile. Ceilings consist of paint over exposed structure. The exterior walls are basically brick with clay tile backup. Select areas of stucco over clay tile. The roof structure consists of concrete columns supporting precast concrete tees. Roof cover is asphalt BUR with tar flood coat. Roof was replaced during 2005 - 2006 with a completion date of 22 Mar 06. The warranty is for 20 Years with W. P. Hickman. Adequate plumbing for facility. HVAC consists of circulating hot and chilled water supplied from boiler building. Select areas of heat only. Adequate electric for facility. Condition: Good Occupancy: Technical/Vocational Shops and Classrooms. Estimated Replacement Cost: $1,300,000.00 |
