Job opportunities include hospitals, clinics, home health care facilities, long-term care facilities, industry and specialty health care hospital units.

Upon successful completion of the Generic Program an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree is awarded. Graduates are qualified to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. The generic program can be completed in two years (six semesters), but most students take three years to complete the program.

If you are a licensed vocational nurse, work experience and required academic courses will be credited for the Transitional Entry Program. The transitional program can be completed in three clinical semesters.
