Stephany “Bebi” Salas, a 5’3” setter and defensive specialist from Bayamon, Puerto Rico opted to shun offers at home as she signed with the Lee College Lady Rebels. A 2009 graduate of Bayamon Military Academy, Bebi is expected to be a key
contributor as a back row specialist and back-up setter. During high school, she led her teams into the playoffs each year of her career, playing for Bayamon as well as spending time at Mundial High School in Italy. An exceptional student, Bebi was a member of the honor society and was consistently on the A/B honor roll. She is an avid beach player at Isle Verde in Puerto Rico, has participated in AAU volleyball for 5 years and most recently competed with the volleyball club Toa Alta Queens. During her spare time, Bebi enjoys more volleyball, softball, spending time with her
boyfriend and friends, and just hanging out.
