Jatoya Arnold, a 6’0” middle hitter from Texarkana, arrives in Baytown as a 2009 graduate of Liberty-Eylau High School. A strong attacker, Jatoya brings excellent volleyball credentials with her to Lee College as she was named the 2008 MVP of her district and Co-Player of the Year on the Texarkana Gazette’s All-Area Team. During her sophomore season, Jatoya was named Newcomer of the Year. As a junior, she earned the honor as the district’s Top Hitter. While in high school, Jatoya also
participated in basketball and track. Her 4 x 400 meter relay team placed sixth in the state track meet. Jatoya enjoys music, hanging out with friends and meeting new people.
