The four girls and their coachesThe girls sign their papers as the coaches look onAll four sophomores on the Lee College volleyball team will play at the university level next year — a major accomplishment celebrated by their coaches, fellow teammates and supporters last week at a special signing ceremony in the college Sports Arena.

“This group is my dream team and they will definitely be missed,” said Head Coach Tracie Johnson. “It’s their behavior, their seriousness about school and their values. They respect others and they appreciate what has been given to them. They’ve worked really hard on the court, off the court and even off campus. They all have done extremely well, and I am very proud of them.”

The Lady Rebel sophomores will graduate from Lee College in May and continue their education and athletic careers as follows (pictured above from left to right):
