Course Rationale:

Students will work in a salon atmosphere and gain valuable knowledge and skills needed to be successful in the cosmetology industry.

Learning Objectives:

Develop and create a variety of hair designs, perform professional cosmetology services and demonstrate cosmetology workplace competencies.

Specific Tasks Accomplished:

1. Perform facial and nail spa services to include pedicures
2. Become familiar with nail enhancements and their application.
3. Review skin and nail technical terms as related to professional cosmetology services
