Course Rationale:
Students will work in a salon atmosphere and gain valuable knowledge and
skills needed to be successful in the cosmetology industry.
Learning Objectives:
Develop and create a variety of hair designs, perform professional
cosmetology services and demonstrate cosmetology workplace competencies.
Specific Tasks Accomplished:
- Perform facial and nail spa services to include pedicures
- Become familiar with nail enhancements and their application.
- Review skin and nail technical terms as related to professional
cosmetology services
