Course Title: Advanced Hair Design
Course Rationale:
Perfecting both workplace competencies and skills for
repeat request client services and will determine hairstyle changes to enhance
client appearance as indicated by a client make over.
Learning Objectives:
Identify terminology, demonstrate the proper techniques, and exhibit
workplace competencies related to hair design.
Specific Tasks Accomplished:
- Perform advanced techniques in long hair styling to include braiding,
and formal styles keeping record of work performed
- Cover current trends in make-up techniques and skin care
- Perform advanced chemistry experiments related to cosmetology products.
- Perform a make-over as a final exam grade
