Legal Research and Writing (LGLA 1301) focuses primarily on legal research techniques and simple writing tasks. This course places greater emphasis on legal writing.

Learning Objectives:

Understand advanced techniques of legal research; understand proper forms of legal writing.

Specific Tasks Accomplished:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to accomplish the following tasks:

  1. Analyze complex legal issues.
  2. Apply effective research strategies to resolve those issues.
