Course Rationale:

This course is a “capstone” course for the paralegal studies degree. It integrates skill acquired from all paralegal courses.

Learning Objectives:

Understand legal terminology and concepts relating to the preparation of legal documents.

Specific Tasks Accomplished:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to accomplish the following tasks:

  1. Define and properly use terminology related to legal document preparation.
  2. Draft transaction and litigation documents based on hypothetical fact situations.
  3. Demonstrate an understanding of the application of transaction and litigation documents.
