Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to accomplish the following tasks:

  1. Explain the basic atmospheric processes that produce weather in the atmosphere;
  2. Identify the weather hazards that pilots will encounter associated with flight;
  3. Select the appropriate method to receive and analyze weather data; and
  4. Use meteorological information to conduct safe flight.
