Course Format

The format for courses is flexible but we have found it is better to split a class into smaller components rather than a semester long course for several reasons. Some of these include:

• Costs: individuals are willing to pay several times for various segments of a course rather than a larger initial up-front cost
• Time Commitment: the adult finds it easier to schedule shorter blocks of time because of outside commitments; and we have found adults will explore new interests with shorter classes.

Classes can meet 1-2 times per week for several weeks or an all-day format may be preferred.
