Senior Citizens Program

Wellness Center

Lee College's renovated Wellness Center & Gymnasium serves as a multi-generation center to help provide family fitness and health education to citizens of the Baytown community. The Wellness Center features exercise equipment especially designed for both younger and older adults. The facilities include two raquetball courts, a traditional lap pool, classrooms for health workshops, a yoga rom, and an aerobics room.

Senior adults ages 65 or older are eligible for special discounts to enroll in the wellness program. Class attendance for seniors adults is approximately two visits per week. A fitness assessment is optional, however, a thorough orientation with aerobic and pin-weight machines is conducted to familiarize seniors with fitness equipment.
