Small Business Development (SBDC)

Provides businesses with one-on-one consulting and information assistance to foster economic growth in the community. Working with existing companies and start-up firms, the Lee College SBDC functions in association with the University of Houston, U.S. Small Business Administration, and the area Chambers of Commerce.

Black Educational Access Committee (BEAC)

The Black Educational Access Committee (BEAC) was formed in the fall of 1986 along with the Hispanic Educational Access Committee. Both committees are coordinated by the Marketing & Public Relations Office at Lee College. The work of these committees has received favorable national recognition and has served to encourage educational access to the African-American and Hispanic community and to other under-represented groups.
