THEA Information & Test Schedule

With the implementation of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI), the testing formerly known as TASP has been renamed to Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA). The content and grading standards of the test have not changed.

THEA is one of many assessments which may be used for initial testing of first-time-in-college students. Testing is mandatory and must be completed prior to enrollment in any course unless you have been “waived” or exempted from initial testing requirements. Please refer to the THEA schedule for testing availability.

If you have questions about the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) and how it applies to you, contact the Counseling Center.
