Process for taking THEA Quick Test

Prior to test date:
Contact Counseling Center staff to schedule for THEA Quick Test by either calling 281-425-6384 or visit the Counseling Office.

Day of test:

Bring valid photo ID to test site 15-30 minutes before test time
Bring a basic four-function calculator if taking the math section
DO NOT BRING: cell phones, pagers or other electronic devices
Examinees are required to pay fee of $29 payable to Pearson Evaluation Systems the day of testing. Pearson will accept either personal checks or fee can be charged to major credit card. NO CASH ACCEPTED.

Standby testing is allowed based on availability. If on standby, come at least 30 minutes prior to test time with valid photo ID and fee. Once the test begins, you will have five hours to complete the test. If you wish to retest, you must wait 30 days.
