Tutoring Services

“FREE tutoring is available to any Lee College student. Tutors are available for students taking developmental reading and writing courses following a referral from the developmental reading and writing faculty. Students taking academic or technical/vocational courses can access tutors in all areas of academic need through the Counseling Center or by visiting the available learning labs around campus.

In addition to personal, one-on-one tutoring, students can get online tutoring through smarthinking.com. Online tutoring is available for math, biology, chemistry, Spanish, economics, statistics and more. Students can use the online writing lab for help with essays through smarthinking.com.

Students interested in receiving tutoring should contact the Counseling Center to speak with a counselor and complete a “Tutee Application”

Students interested in working as a tutor should contact the Counseling Center for more information. Applicants must complete the non-instructional application and return it to the Human Resources office.
