Distance Education / Online Courses
In order to provide each student with the opportunity to complete
their education, Lee College offers distance learning courses and
is a part of a network of Texas community colleges offering online,
video and televised classes. To find out whether distance learning
classes are for you, feel free to fill out a survey that
can help you make that decision.
Distance Education through Lee College
Lee College offers Distance Education classes for our students
that are unable to make it on campus. Be sure to view the current
schedule of Distance education courses being offered.
Getting Started:
Distance Education classes through Lee College are registered like
any other class taken. Some courses require instructor permission
prior to registration.
A wide range of support services are available for distance education
students.
Virtual College of Texas
For classes not available at Lee College, The Virtual College
of Texas (VCT) offers students the opportunity to take a course
from a remote college while enrolling at their home college that
provides counseling, library services and testing sites. Course
listings can be found at www.vct.org.
Getting Started:
Students need to contact the distance education counselor either
through email or stopping by the Counseling
Center, in order to reserve
a spot in the class of their choice.
