II. Lee College Board Of Regents

The Lee College Board of Regents is composed of nine Regents who are elected at large in a district wide election. Elections are held on the first Saturday in May in even numbered years. Three or more Regents are elected, depending upon the number required to constitute a board of nine to serve staggered six year terms.

The Board has three general functions: legislative or policy making; appraisal or evaluation; and oversight of the President's administrative duties. The Board generally meets on the third Thursday of every month to discuss matters relating to college operations, policies, personnel, legal, real estate, purchasing, and budget topics.

Employees of the college and the general public who want copies of minutes, agenda's and board policies should place written requests for such with the Administrative Assistant to the President/Secretary to the Board in Rundell Hall.
