XI. Faculty Assembly 3

The Board officially recognizes the Faculty Assembly as a duly organized body representative of the faculty.

The Faculty Assembly serves in an advisory capacity to the administration of the District on matters affecting employee interest. All communications from this organization or its designees shall be directed to the administration for consideration and action.

All full-time faculty members are voting members of Faculty Assembly. Meetings of all members occur once in fall and once in spring; Executive Council meetings are monthly from September through May.

Standing committees are Benefits, Grievance, Professional Development, Professional Standards and Responsibilities, and Student and Public Relations. The duties and membership of each are described in the Constitution of the Lee College Faculty Assembly (Appendix B).
