Sexual Harassment

Lee College is committed to maintaining an academic environment in which its members can freely work together, both in and out of the classroom, to further education. Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal and physical conduct of sexual nature constitute sexual harassment.

Sexual harassment is illegal whether it is initiated by a supervisor, a manager, a co-worker, a student or an instructor.

Because of the importance we place on these types of issues, Lee College has instituted a policy and specific procedures for investigating harassment complaints. It is our policy to investigate and resolve these issues in a prompt manner. If you have been harassed, or another's conduct creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment, please notify one of the sexual harassment coordinators:
