How to Clear Your Web Browser's Cache Files.
Windows Netscape Navigator

  1. From the Netscape Navigator menu bar select "Edit" and then click on "Preferences...".

  2. From the Preferences dialog box find "Advanced" under the Category column. Click on the triangle (sample triangle) next to "Advanced" to reveal its options. Under Advanced click on the option "Cache". The cache file options will appear on the right side of the preferences dialog box. Click on the button labeled"Clear Memory Cache" then click on the button labeled"Clear Disk Cache".

  3. Click "OK" to close the Preferences dialog box. Important! Do Not load any new web pages in your web browser yet.
  4. You will also need to clear any "Cookies" stored in your web browser. From the menu bar choose "Tools" and then roll you cursor over the option "Cookie Manager". Under the Cookie Manager click on "Manage Stored Cookies".

    Warning: Cookies can contain personalized information you have entered previously on a Web page, such as passwords or login information. Make sure you have this information before you delete any cookies.

  5. To clear all cookies from your web browser click on the "Remove All Cookies" button. To close the Cookie Manager window click on the "OK" button.

  6. Important! Do Not load any new web pages in your web browser. Close all open windows of Netscape Navigator.
  7. After Netscape Navigator is complete shut down you may re-open the Netscape Navigator application.
