2009 Innovations in Teaching and Learning Conference invites faculty, librarians, students, administrators, and consultants to submit proposals for papers and general sessions related to the conference theme. We welcome participation from anyone with an interest in instructional technology. Lee College invites faculty and IT professionals who are excited about the role of technology in education to discuss and demonstrate innovative ways of incorporating technology into teaching and learning.
You can submit a proposal for the in the following areas:
- Institutional Goals, Student Persistence and Social Networking
- Innovative Use of a Learning Technique or Methodology
- Smart Classroom Technology
- Gaming and Simulation Technology
- Web-based Course Design Tools
- Learning in Virtual Worlds
- Open Source Technology
- Assessment and e-Portfolios
Presentations can be given in one of three formats: Individual, Panel Discussion or Poster. Your proposal (limited to no more than 350 words) will serve as your presentation abstract on the conference web site.
