Programmable Feature Buttons

PRIME LINE

The bottom left button is your main extension, or prime line - the system identifies you by this number. Outside calls come In to you on this line.

2nd LINE

Incoming calls generally rollover to this line if prime line is busy.

PROGRAM

This button is used to program Auto Dial buttons for 1-touch dialing:

  • PRESS HI-LOW Button to select upper or lower program position
    (THIS STEP APPLIES TO 24-BUTTON SET ONLY, WHICH CAN STORE 2 NUMBERS PER BUTTON)
  • PRESS Program Button (RED LIGHT ON)
  • PRESS Blank Button to store number. (RED LIGHT ON, THEN BLINKING)
  • ENTER Number you wish to store. (Extension number on 9 + outside number)
  • PRESS Program Button (RED LIGHTS OUT)

MSG WTG

Message Waiting Button lights to indicate or alert you that you have a new, unplayed message in voice mailbox.

  • LISTEN for dial tone
  • PRESS MW Button (TAKES YOU INTO VOICE MAIL SYSTEM)

JOIN

Joint Call Button allows you to join 2 incoming calls together

  • CALLER 1 IS ON HOLD & YOU ARE CURRENTLY ONLINE WITH CALLER 2
  • PRESS JOIN Button (BOTH CALLS ARE NOW ON HOLD & JOIN' IS ON YOUR DISPLAY)
  • PRESS LINE Button (LINE WHERE CALLER 1 IS HELD)

(RESULTS IS A THREE-WAY CONFERENCE CALL & THE 2 CALLS REMAIN JOINED IF YOU HANG UP)

REDIAL

Last Number Redial stores the most recent outgoing or extension call for automatic redialing later. A new number is stored, overriding the previous number each time a successful call has been placed.

REDIAL DOES NOT STORE A NUMBER PLACED THROUGH AN AUTO DIAL CALLING MODE.

CALL FWD

Forwards all calls directly into voice mail or another extension

FORWARD TO AN EXTENSION:

  • LISTEN for dial tone
  • PRESS Call Forward Button
  • ENTER 4 digit extension number
  • LISTEN for acceptance tone
  • HANG UP

FORWARD TO VOICE MAIL:

  • LISTEN for dial tone
  • PRESS Call Forward Button
  • ENTER 6591 (Pilot Code)
  • HANG UP

TO CANCEL: LISTEN FOR DIAL TONE & PRESS CALL FORWARD BUTTON (RED LIGHT OUT)

PICK-UP

Allows you to answer another ringing extension within your group:

  • LIFT HANDSET AND PRESS PICK-UP Button - You will be connected to the call.

If you wish to answer another ringing extension which is not within your group, PRESS "25 + extension number of that telephone. (Direct Call Pick-Up)
