Student Success Courses

Students are identified as college-ready when each component of the developmental sequence has been completed in reading, writing, and mathematics, or a retest of the TSIA earns a passing score.

TSI-responsible students attending college for the first time and who place into developmental coursework must take either LSSS 3000 (Learning Strategies for Student Success) or EDUC 1200 (Learning Pathways) as noted below.

  • LSSS 300 — Student tests into developmental coursework in reading, writing, and math.
  • EDUC 1200 — All first-time-in-college students who declare general studies or undecided as their program of study.
