Workforce Training

“Providing Business and Industry Skills of Tomorrow”

The Industrial Training Department provides the flexibility of two educational pathways with classes and instructors certified by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). The first option allows the student needing training or upgrading to enter the appropriate college-level class. The second path affords the industrial client the opportunity to customize classes that meet their specific training needs.

Skills demonstration for employment or craft validation may be accommodated in any of the areas of training. On a regular basis, the industrial program tests client’s employees or applicants to ensure their skills and knowledge in their craft. Testing of this nature provides a third party analysis for the client to make a better judgment as to the craft qualification of the employee or applicant.
