Directions to the Library:
From North Houston &
Bush Intercontinental Airport:
- From Bush Intercontinental Airport go South on JFK Blvd to Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8 South).
- Go left (East) on Sam Houston tollway to Interstate 10 (about 20 miles).
- Go East on Interstate 10 about 8 miles to Baytown exit #788, (Highway Spur 330/Decker Drive).
- Go South on Decker Drive about 5 miles. At this point, Decker Drive ends and becomes Market Street veering slightly to the right (West).
- Cross Texas Avenue staying on Market and immediately get into left turn lane. You will see the Lee College campus directly in front of you.
- Turn left (South) onto Lee Drive.
- Immediately after Gulf Street, turn left into the parking lot. The modern 3-story building is the Advanced Technology Center (ATC). The library is housed on the ground floor of the ATC.
From William P. Hobby Airport:
- Start by going Southeast on Airport Boulevard toward Hinman Street.
- Turn left onto Monroe Street
- Turn left (Northwest) onto I-45 (Gulf Freeway)
- Merge onto I-45 North via the ramp on the left
- Merge onto I-610 East via exit number 40B toward TX-225/Pasadena
- Merge onto Pasadena Freeway, TX-225 East, via exit number 30B toward Pasadena/La Porte.
- Go left (North) on Highway 146 over the Ship Channel at La Porte (Fred Hartman Bridge) and proceed on the main Highway 146 (not 146 business route) to Texas Avenue/Decker Drive exit.
- Exit at Texas Avenue/Decker Drive and turn right (East) on Texas Avenue continue to Decker Drive. (You will see Lee College on your right.)
- Turn right onto Decker and immediately get in left hand turn lane. (Decker becomes Market Street.)
- Turn left (South) onto Lee Drive.
