About Our Library

Lee College is a community college that extends its library facilities and resources to students, staff, and the general public as a service to our community. You can find our beautiful new library on the first floor of the Library Technology Center, 150 Lee Drive, Baytown. Our collection contains approximately 100,000 books and bound periodicals, current periodicals that support an academic and technical curriculum, over 100,000 pieces of microform, nearly 4,000 audiovisual materials, government documents, e-books, and thousands of full-text periodical articles from over 45 databases. The library has multiple Internet workstations to support your research needs. Please refer to the Library's Acceptable Use Policy.

The circulation of library resources is limited to categories of users such as administration, faculty, non-college, and student. However, the general public is welcome to use in-house any resource the library owns. We are participating members of the TexShare Borrower Card Program and will honor cards from other institutions. Our library offers day and evening hours.

We encourage you to stop by and take advantage of the resources and services that the library has to offer. If you need a quiet place to study, use one of our tutorial study rooms. If you're working on a project with a small group, you can reserve one of our group study rooms. We'll be happy to assist you on a one-on-one basis at the reference desk or you can schedule an appointment with one of our reference librarians for a personal tour or help with a special project.
