Borrowing From the Library
Who
Lee College Library On-Campus patrons - currently enrolled students, staff, and faculty who have classes or work on campus.
Lee College Library Distance Learning patrons - currently enrolled students, staff, and faculty who do not have classes or work on campus.
Non-College Card Holders - patrons who do not fit into one of the above categories but who wish to borrow from the library.
How / What
On-Campus patrons
- Checking out library materials: bring validated student I.D. and material selections to the Library Circulation Desk.
- Patrons must be in good standing with the Library to be able to borrow materials.
- Borrowing from other libraries:
Distance Learning patrons:
- Checking out library materials: bring validated student I.D. and material selections to the Library Circulation Desk.
- Patrons must be in good standing with the library to be able to borrow materials.
- The Lee College Library staff will work with our off-campus patrons in obtaining a Library I.D. and needed materials.
- Borrowing from other libraries:
Non-College patrons:
- Library privileges: individuals unaffiliated with Lee College may purchase a card at the circulation desk.
- The card is good for 1 (one) year and permits borrowing up to 10 (ten) books at a time.
- Fewer than 10 (ten) books may be checked out when all are on the same subject.
- Only books may be borrowed by non-college patrons.
- Licensing prohibits non-college patrons from accessing Lee College Library electronic resources from off-campus.
- Non-college patrons must be in good standing with the Library to be able to borrow books or purchase a non-college card.
- Lee College Library does not provide interlibrary loan services or Texshare cards for non-college patrons.
- Checking out books: bring non-college card and material selections to the Library Circulation Desk.
