How to Access

E-books through Lee College Library
NetLibrary is a collection of electronic books (e-books) which can be
accessed through any computer with Internet access by currently enrolled
Lee College students, staff, and faculty.
In order to access NetLibrary
off-campus, you will need a valid Lee College library ID card:

1) Go to the Library website at www.lee.edu/library.
2) Choose the Article
and Reference Databases link.

3) This will take you to the database webpage. Choose the letter "N" from
underneath the heading "Alphabetical List."

4) Go to the "NetLibrary" link. It will be the 3rd database
on the list.

5) If you are on-campus, skip this step and go to step 6. If you are off-campus,
you will see a page with an orange & gray bar at the top that asks
for your last name and your Lee College library card number.
Enter your
last name and the ENTIRE number on the back of your library card with no
spaces:

6) You will see the NetLibrary main page. Under the pink bar, you will
see a menu. The default is "Full-text." You may get more relevant
results if you change it to a "subject" search.

7) Then type your subject into the blank box and hit the "search" button.
If you are searching for e-books about a person, be sure to type their
last name first. It will bring back a list of e-books on your subject.
To open the book you want to look at, click on the “View this eBook” hyperlink
underneath the description of the book.

8) A window will open with the table of contents on the left and an image
of the book on your right. You can page through the book by using the "next" button
at the upper-right hand corner of the screen or by clicking on the section
of the book you want to look at in the table of contents.
