Lee College Tennis Club To Host Open Tennis Tournament
The Lee College Tennis Club will host its first Baytown Open Tennis Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with two divisions of competition for young adults from 15-18 years old and for adults ages 19 years and older. The tournament will have both singles and double matches for males and females. The adult division will include male and female singles matches starting at 8:00 a.m., at the Lee College tennis courts with male and female doubles starting at 2:00 p.m. The young adult division will include male and female singles matches starting at 8:00 a.m., at the Robert e. Lee High School tennis courts with male and female doubles starting at 2:00 p.m. The entry deadline is Monday, Nov. 9 at 5:00 p.m. The tournament is on a first come, first serve bases with 16 spots available for each singles division and 8 teams for each doubles division. Cost is $10 for singles and $5 for doubles per player. Tennis balls will be provided. Full refunds will be provided, if the tournament is cancelled.
