Nursing Expansion Impacts Parking and Traffic

Free shuttle service available for PAC events

Due to Lee College’s expansion of the McNulty-Haddick Nursing Center, parking in front of the facility and adjacent to the east side of the college’s Performing Arts Center (PAC), will be inaccessible until expansion of the nursing center is complete, sometime in late 2017.

PAC Parking MapTo accommodate PAC event patrons, Lee College is offering shuttle service from parking lots 11 and 13. Parking lot 11 is accessed either from Gulf, Felton or Whiting streets, and parking lot 13 is accessed by Texas Avenue. PAC parking on the west side of the building will remain available.

Shuttles will run approximately every 10 minutes from both lots 11 and 13. The circular drive in front of the PAC main entrance will remain open for drop off and pick up. Both lots, however, are still within comfortable walking distance of the PAC main entrance.

Pedestrian access to the PAC from Texas Avenue will be available through the Texas Avenue entrance for the McNulty-Haddick Nursing Center. While it is not required, this entrance is suggested for persons opting to walk from parking lot 13 to the PAC.

Lee College security officers will be on hand to assist with directions, traffic and general assistance. Shuttle service is only available for PAC performances. A campus map is available for viewing online from the college’s homepage at by choosing “campus maps” at the bottom of the page, or by typing in this address: Directional signage will also be deployed to assist patrons with parking and traffic flow.

Patrons are encouraged to arrive at the PAC at least an hour prior to show time. For more information, please contact the PAC box office at 281.425.6255. Box Office hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m.-noon Friday. The Box Office is closed Saturdays and Sundays, but open 2 hours prior to showtime.

Lee College apologizes in advance for any inconvenience and would like to thank the public for its understanding while the college works to improve and enhance the learning environment of its nursing students.
