Compliance Certificate

Accreditation Process

Compliance Certificate

The Compliance Certificate is an internal audit evaluating compliance of specific Core Requirements and Comprehensive Standards which can be found in Section II of the Principles of Accreditation. The various college departments will have primary responsibility for completing this Compliance Certificate. The SACS Steering Committee, is a representative team of Lee College faculty, administrators, and staff, which was appointed by President Ellis with the role of overseeing the process. For each requirement or standard, the College will determine, and the Steering Committee will confirm, if we are in compliance, partial compliance, or non-compliance. Also for each, documentation and narrative summaries will be collected to support our conclusions. An off-site SACS committee will review the documentation. This committee will evaluate our compliance and report findings in an oral report to the leadership of the College.
