Quality Enhancement Plan

Overview

In addition to the Compliance Audit, the Quality Enhancement Plan is the other, simultaneous, component of the accreditation process.   The QEP involves "Engaging the wider academic community and addressing an issue or issues that contribute to institutional improvement." (SACS COC, Principles of Accreditation, 2003, p.9) The QEP should respond to the needs of the College and is due to the Commission in the fall of 2005. . The completed document will detail our plan to improve student learning with the complete implementation of the plan may taking up to five years.  Approximately six weeks later, the On-Site Committee will visit the College to determine the acceptability of the QEP.
