The QEP Timeline
Completed by Sept..15, 2004
President and SACS steering committee named the director(s) of the QEP
who in turn identifies leaders and committees responsible for writing
plans to improve services to support student learning.
Completed by Dec. 15, 2004
QEP directors and committees work with campus (faculty, administration,
staff, and students) in identifying current issues and information regarding
success in student learning
Completed by April 1, 2005
QEP committees write plans for improving services to support student
learning, QEP director and SACS steering committee collates these plans
and other information to complete a draft of QEP
Completed by April 15, 2005
SACS chair and QEP director post the QEP draft document (no more than
100 pages) on the WEB and solicits feedback from campus.
Completed by June 15, 2005
QEP leadership committee and SACS steering committee revised the plan
based on campus feedback.
Completed by July 15, 2005
President’s council considers the QEP for approval
Completed by August 1,2005
President submits the QEP to the Commission on Colleges
Completed by February 2006,
SACS team visits the campus
