Emergency ProceduresHurricane/Flood/TornadoHurricane/Flood In the event a hurricane or flood threatens the region, the president will monitor the situation and decide whether or not to close the campus. Should the determination be made to close the campus, employees should do the following before leaving.
Tornado Since tornados give no advance notice, little can be done except for protecting yourself. Should a tornado endanger the campus, it is safer to remain in the building. Stay away from windows, stay close to structural supports (beams, columns, etc.) and remain calm. Once in the sheltered area, everyone should sit facing the internal wall with knees and head down, hands covering face and head. |
