Government, or political science, is the study of the foundations, institutions, structure, and politics of national, state, and local governments. Students can also concentrate in international politics. Students who earn a degree in government/political science pursue careers in law, education, research, international business, journalism, non-profit organizations, foreign diplomatic service, or public administration.
