Project
Leeway 
The Project Leeway program is designed to promote and
facilitate access to vocational/technical education and training at
Lee College. It is focused toward low-income students seeking non-traditional careers,
single parents, displaced homemakers, & single pregnant women. The program is funded by
Carl Perkins basic grant. We assist
students in gaining access to vocational education programs through
the following program components: career exploration; study skills; surviving transition; job search
assistance; and support services such as child care, textbook, transportation
assistance, financial aid resource identification, and tutoring. Students are now eligible to receive creit for the six week class.
