“Hands-on” is the guiding principle for Audio Engineering at Lee College.
Within the college’s audio technology computer lab and state-of-the-art digital recording facilities, students will prepare for careers in recording studios, live entertainment venues, houses of worship, record labels, advertising agencies, animation houses, video game companies, and radio and television studios.
Students can earn either an Associate’s Degree or one of two different Certificates in Audio Engineering Technology. There is even a transfer-track degree available for those planning to pursue a degree in Communications or Broadcasting at a four-year university.
Topics such as music business, studio recording techniques, electronic music production, digital editing, audio for video, and audio electronics are covered.
