The Lee College Music
Program offers not only the Associate of Arts
Degree in Music which consists
of the full two-year curriculum leading to a Baccalaureate degree in music
performance, music education and church music, but also a wide variety
of opportunities for students who enjoy singing or performing in a jazz
ensemble, concert band or symphony orchestra. Students may also take private
lessons in voice, piano, organ, guitar, or any band or orchestral instrument.
Students interested in taking a music course to fulfill the core course
requirements for their degree programs may enroll in Music Appreciation
or the Fundamentals of Music. Music Appreciation is offered on campus during
the daytime and in the evening. It is also frequently offered at a variety
of locations off-campus and during the May mini session. Concurrent enrollment
is available to high school students who wish to take private lessons or
music classes. |
