Auditions

Auditions are scheduled during the spring and summer semesters. To register online to audition on a scheduled date or to arrange for an individual audition, call the music office at (281) 425-6821.

Audition Requirements

Instrumental

• One solo from UIL list, or Regional Try-Out Music
• Major Scales: F, B-Flat, E-Flat, A-Flat, G, D, A & E
• Sight Reading

Keyboard

• One solo (prferably two)
• Sight Reading

Vocal

• Two contrasting songs with accompanist or, prepared tape or CD

Music majors will also take a music theory placement test.
