Facilities
Housed in the Douglas O. Huddle Music Building are two auditoriums, the
Tom Stone Listening Library and Computer Lab, practice rooms all equipped
with well-maintained acoustic pianos, and a multitrack digital recording
studio for beginning and advanced classes in recording techniques. Also
available for student use are a Moller pipe organ and six grand pianos
as well as a new Baldwin concert grand piano.
The Tom Stone Listening Library and MIDI Computer Lab
The Listening Library holdings include over 1500 LPs and 1000 CDs as well
as videos and musical scores, cassette decks, turntables and CD players.
The Computer Lab houses both PC and Mac computers, four of which are interfaced
with MIDI keyboards. Students have access to a variety of music software
programs such as the latest version of Finale, Auralia, Musitian and SmartScore.
