Scholarships, Ensemble Grants, Foundation Scholarships and Financial Aid

Scholarships and Ensemble Grants

Music scholarships are available to majors and non-majors through the music department and the Lee College Foundation. Applicants for music scholarships and ensemble grants must contact the music office or fill out the Music Department Scholarship and Ensemble Grant form on-line. Students applying for a scholarship or grant must fill out financial aid forms, available in the Financial Aid Office.

Music Major Scholarships

Students majoring in music are eligible for departmental scholarships. Those awards recently have ranged from $350-$550 per semester depending on the availability of funds and the academic ability/performance of the applicant. Recipients must be continually enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours. Scholarship and Ensemble Grant Application

Ensemble Grants

Ensemble grants are available to talented non-music majors for participation in Lee College instrumental and vocal performance organizations. Typical awards range from $125-$375 per semester depending on funds available, ability of the applicant and the number of ensembles in which the student may be selected to participate. Recipients must be continually enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours. Scholarship and Ensemble Grant Application

Financial Aid

Financial assistance is available to Lee College students in the form of grants, scholarships, loans and employment through the work-study or student assistantship programs. Priority will be given for applications received by June 1 for fall, November 1 for spring, and April 1 for summer.
