Attendance and
Withdrawals
Lee College policy states that students are expected to attend all scheduled
class meetings. I too expect regular attendance, as it is essential to
understand the concepts explained in the reading material. More than three
absences may result in an instructor’s “drop” from the course. If
you decide to drop the course, it is your responsibility to complete a “drop
form” and turn it in at the Lee College Records Office prior to the drop
deadline listed in the course schedule each semester. Do not expect that the
instructor will initiate an Instructor’s Withdrawal for a student from class due
to a lack of attendance---failure to attend class may result in a
grade of “F” at the end of the semester. Also, it is my policy that I will not
drop students after the last day to drop has passed.
