Dr. Victoria Marron

Dr. Victoria Marron’s life goal is to serve traditionally marginalized student populations and their families by removing systemic barriers and empowering their success.

As Associate Vice President of Retention and Transition Services and Chief Equity Officer at Lee College, Dr. Marron strives to meet students' basic needs and make measurable progress toward under-resourced students' ideal student experience. She also works to advance Lee College's equity and anti-racism initiatives strategically.

Additionally, Dr. Marron oversees the implementation of Lee College’s Learning Frameworks course, student retention and success initiatives, and career and transfer services.

She previously served as Lee College’s Executive Director of Retention and Transition Services, Executive Director of Hispanic Serving Institutions and STEM Grant Director.

Dr. Marron was selected for the 2016 National Community College Hispanic Council Fellowship Program, and she is a recipient of the INSIGHT Into Diversity’s Inspiring Women in STEM National Award.

Dr. Marron also helped establish Lee College as an American Association of Community Colleges Diversity finalist for the Puente Mentoring Program. In 2018, she was named one of Baytown's 24 under 40 to positively impact the local community.

She earned a Doctor of Education in ethical leadership with an emphasis on social justice from the University of St. Thomas, a Master of Arts in counseling from Liberty University, and a Bachelor of Science in sociology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
