Through MAS4, the area of concentration in Mexican-American Studies, students will take a focused look at the cultural production and social history of Mexican-American, Chicano, and Latino groups in the U.S.

As a field of study, the MAS4 degree is situated within a larger framework of cultural studies, ethnic studies, and social justice which will prepare students for a broad range of career and life goals, including, art, law, literature, public service, social entrepreneurship, public health, education, and community organizing, to name a few.

Through engaged cultural production and community activities, students will develop the knowledge they need to make an impact in their surrounding world.
